A New Stage of Uzbekistan–China Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Sector

An agency agreement aimed at developing cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector has been signed between the “Pharm Service” State Institution and the China Pharmaceutical Association.

The agreement was signed by Akhror Zakhitjanovich Fattakhov, Director of the “Pharm Service” State Institution, and Paul Zhang, Head of the China Pharmaceutical Association.

The agreement will contribute to further strengthening practical cooperation between the parties, expanding engagement with Chinese pharmaceutical companies, and supporting their entry into the Uzbekistan market.

Within the framework of the cooperation, particular attention will be given to developing practical collaboration in the areas of medicinal product registration, GxP, localization of production, and technology transfer.

The agreement is expected to further expand pharmaceutical cooperation between Uzbekistan and China and create new opportunities for collaboration between pharmaceutical companies of the two countries.
